Crazy About Carrots

Carrots should be a part of everyone’s life!  Their sweet taste and bright color definitely say, “I am good for you!”

The problem is carrots are like little orange sponges, absorbing nutrients and sometimes harmful chemicals from the soil. That is why the most important thing to do is to opt for organic carrots. But what about when you have the choice between raw organic carrots, those that have been juiced, or Carrot Juice Plus (by Purium) – Which is the best option?

Here’s a quick cheat sheet that should help.

Raw Carrots Juiced Carrots Carrot Juice Plus
Has tough fiber Gentle on digestive system Fiber still included
A raw carrot has less than 5% of daily mineral requirements Absorbed in blood stream faster Always organic
Takes longer to eat the equivalent amount found in juice Concentrated nutrition All the benefits of juicing,No messy juicer to clean

Purium’s Carrot Juice Plus has all the benefits of juiced carrots PLUS the added benefit of Rice Bran Solubles. This ingredient was added purposefully because it is a nutrient dense healthy fat that helps your body maximize the nutrition found in the carrots.

So, while all three options are GOOD options, juiced carrots are a better option than raw carrots and Carrot Juice Plus is the BEST option of them all.
